Month: December 2017

I cannot believe that I have already been AND gone. South beach, Miami was amazing. If you ever get the chance to go I would definitely take it, one ticked off my bucket list.

I was there at the time of Art Basel, which is a super cool and trendy time to go to Miami as all the celebs flood in to visit the Art show. I was in the midst of some of my current girl crushes, the likes of Olivia Culpo, Steph Shep and Sofia Richie. Unfortunately no celeb spotting to be told.. But I did keep up with their shenanigans on Insta.

So we stayed right on South Beach in the W Hotel which is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed, I am photographed in our room which was just life. Never wanted to leave it. We ate in some of the best places in Miami including Prime 112 which was a huge food goal for me, courtesy of the food god himself, Mr Jonathan Cheban, I love seeing where he eats!

So yes, a busy few weeks for me as we went out every single night which means a total of like 15 evening outfits. Crazy, I think I wore every single thing I packed. I am pictured here on the night of Prime 112 actually, we went to a neighbouring hotel for some drinks before hand which was called the Setai, which again was just one of the most beautifully designed places I’ve been.

I chose to wear my PLT black ruffle dress on this night, super feminine and complimentary on the waist ON SALE FOR ยฃ23 ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. A great buy, as we all recycle our LBDs. I styled it with my most colourful pair of shoes, Christian Louboutin wedges, to add some colour and detail to the outfit. A long with my YSL green glitter bag, which I was told by a lovely American sales lady “Oh my god, isn’t your YSL just super festive?!” I love their enthusiasm.

So this week, my edit calls for some summer sun outfits, if some of us are lucky enough to be jetting off after the Christmas period ๐Ÿ˜

Wednesday is upon us once again guys, I hope you all have had a wonderful week!

Feeling a little calmer than last week, I am on holiday mode and winding down from my most stressful November in work so far. Hope you are all getting ready for the run up to Christmas, it really is a wonderful time a year ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿผ.

I had my M&S luxury advent calendar this week, if anyone has had one you’ll know the excitement I’m feeling to open up a cosmetic goodie each day.

So yes, A LOT calmer this week and my outfit is reflecting my mood. We have gone from every colour under the sun in last weeks ‘COLOUR CLASH’ blog to a bit of good old fashion monochrome, plus my fave Revolve X Chrissy jacket debuted in the Chrissy X Revolve ๐Ÿ–ค post.

I love this shirt dress, it is from H&M and is the best if you’re stuck for something to wear. It runs a little big so no need to go a size up. There is nothing smarter than a white shirt at times, its clean cut and fresh. I have paired this outfit with my favourite Balenciaga boots, they come alive in the winter and are super Festive with their black velvet and patent toes.

I added my ‘Self Same’ crystal choker to make the look more feminine and formal and again it makes me feel christmassy as its so glitzy. Definitely worth checking them out for accessories that really finish your look.

So I think this calls for a festive ‘SHINY’ Edit from me this week. I am totally drowning in sequins and sparkles at the moment, I will have to do a video for you all on my Instagram page soon just to show you how deep I am into it all, I definitely have a problem. But its Christmas so if you can’t go mad on sequins now, when can you..
